Does anyone have ANY idea how much it may go for?

Or How much did C2D cost when it was released?

Currently I'm trying to stretch out my budget to buy a Santa Rosa 2.0Ghz, hope it doesn't cost over $600 >.<

The budget configurations might be around their but expect the mid to upper range configurations to be in excess of $800.

Santa Rosa is targeted at the "mid- to high-end market" according to the article:
    http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3614
    So, $1,000+ minimum.
You can't even get a current 2.0GHz Dual-core computer for $600 - you'd need $1,100 or so. To be honest, I wouldn't worry too much about the clockspeed.

no i meant in my current specs for my Hel 80 i have 2 Ghz C2D and i might be able to go +$600 if it means ill get a Santa Rosa,

btw is it right for me to think that Santa Rosa will work better than C2D at the same clock-rate because Santa Rosa will be in it's proper chipset unlike C2D which was adapted to the current chipset??

You're not wrong. The Core 2 Duo CPUs that come with the Santa Rosa platform will be faster clock-for-clock because they are coupled with a faster FSB (800MHz vs. the current platform's 667MHz).
