    Express SoundCard 54mm - need optical output

    Hello,

    I am wondering if anyone have any soundcard to recommend in the format of a expresscard 54 for my laptop.

    I will need an optical out as I am using a Toslink mini cable to connect it to my surround system.

    My surround system is a Logitech Z-5450, so it is a 5.1 surround system. I am at the moment using my onboard soundcard, so I think (and hope) that an external expresscard will improve my sound quality? Reason why I am a bit reluctant for a USB soundcard is that I already have to many periperals connecting into them. Plus it sounds more convenient to have it in the express 54 slot. Especially if it doesnt reduce sound quality? (does it?)
