This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    All three of the usb ports on a friends laptop have died, but he does have the Expresscard slot available. I took a peek at some of the usb expansion cards around that interface with the expresscard interface, but they all have horrid reviews. Can anyone recommend a good usb expresscard?

    Not that I know of any, but how many USB ports does he want at least on the card?
