I will be using my new laptop about 95% of the time in my office. So, I have decided to not pay the approx $150 premium for a 1920x1080 laptop screen and instead use that money towards a bigger external LED flat screen monitor.

I am looking at buying the ASUS VS248H-P for around $180 but am open to something else which might be better for around the same under $250 delivered price if possible.

Anyone else have the Asus monitor and if so, what do you think about it?
Or, can anyone else recommend some different comparable monitor which might be better for under $250 delivered?

    Thanks for the help!
