If you need extra juice, they are what they are. However, they make your laptop thicker, heavier, and you have to cary around two parts. If you need more battery life, though, you're stuck.

Well I need about 7 hours of power on battery a day, So its this or a second internal battery, this works out cheaper than a sony battery

Not a option unfortunatly, the FE only supports One battery. And I hate having to turn off the laptop to chane batteries when one dies, They weigh about the same and the external is universal.

If you need the extra juice, and don't have access to an outlet, looks like that is about your only option. I've seen some on ebay, but I don't have a need for one. Just make sure you have enough space in your case for it ;)
