    My new Dell doesn't come with a built in modem, which I use occasionally, so I need to purchase an external modem. Does anyone have any advice or recomendations?

    Six months ago Dell was offering a USB modem as an option for the M1330. Is this still available? Otherwise search for a USB dial-up modem such as this.

    Personally, although I haven't plugged anything into the modem port for about 18 months, it is still something I want to have available.
