I've got a dell XPS M1330 and I'm planning on getting a nice external monitor for it soon. I'm looking for a monitor that's 22" or more, but at a reasonable price (under $600). I use my laptop for school and for gaming. Also, I like the glossy screen on the m1330, so a monitor with a glossy screen as well would be nice. Do you guys have any recommendations? I've checked CNET and their review site doesn't really point me towards any one monitor. It also doesn't review samsung monitors, for some reason.

Get a good TV,like 44" or so.I dnt know about resolutions but I think that's more economical.

    I have the Gateway FHD2400.

Colors are very Vibrant, and I love all the inputs. Plus I wanted 1920 resolution instead of 1680.

So far I have been lucky that the notorious backlight bleed hasn't really appeared yet. I haven't noticed any more bleeding than any other LCD panel I have in the house. But I also got this thing for free in a little contest, so I can't really complain.
