Vista 32. Latest LV2G drivers. All vista automatic updates installed.

I have an external Dell WFP1908 19 Inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor, that I use as my main monitor with the laptop's screen as the secondary desktop.

The native resolution on the WFP is 1440x900, and it looks pretty and fine on that. The native res on my laptop is as in sig.

Trouble is, every time the pc sleeps or wakes, boots or shuts down, or happens to reset the drivers, it resets the external monitor to 1280x854, and resets the refresh rate to stock.

I've even tried installing drivers from dell so it is recognised, but no luck.

    Anyone have this problem?

Well I have a Toshiba with XP and the GMA950, and as long as I don't unplug the VGA, it won't reset the settings. It will keep the settings if I sleep it, hibernate, shut down etc. I can't really help you on yours
