HI there - I own a Dell Vostro 1500, and need to purchase an external sound card, due to the on-board card being useless for sound recording, or even basic voip chat.

All I will be using the card for, is voip, music/movie playback, no intense sound work, so don't need a card designed for DJ's.

I am based in the UK, and trying to find the one which is most portable.

The best so far (size wise) are :

    http://www.kenable.co.uk/product_info.php?referer=froogle&products_id=1252

Looking on ebay, there are these dodgy looking ones, similar to the size of a usb flash stick http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/_W0QQ_nkwZexternalQ20soundQ20cardQ20portableQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ

Ideally I am looking for item like this, made by a trusted brand? any suggestions?

Also, currently I am using USB speakers with my laptop, if I use a USB sound card, would USB speakers be compatible with the set-up?? or do I need speakers to connect directy to the USB sound card jack??
