    Hi,
Because of lousy refresh rate of built-in LCD display in my Fujitsu-Suimens Amilo Pi1536 (60Hz only :( ) I tried to connect external CRT monitor.
Well.. it works with DVI-to-D-Sub interface (came with laptop - nice) but I cannot set up a different resolution and refresh rate ? It's the same as on LCD: 1200x800x60Hz...
And with Fn key I can only turn external monitor On or Off - notebook's LCD is always On.
    I have Radeon X1400.
Any help please ? I 'd like to set it to use external display only with 1024x768 and 75Hz minimum. Is it possible?

First of all: all notebooks have a 60 Hz display.

About your resolution. Go to CCC (Catalyst Control Center) and change the resolution. (See my screenshot.)

    Yes... It's there... :) Thanks !
I need new glasses as I completely overlooked this settings :D

But 60Hz sucks ! My eyes hurts when I play a game for a few hours... :(
