    Can anyone suggest some cheap (as cheap as possible, under $100) external hard drives (60GB+) that lets the user put a password on it?

    you can encrypt any drive using free softwares, i think truecrypt can do that

    i know AcomData harddrives can be password protected so can the WD Passports
