Do you want an Express Card one or USB?

    Here's a USB one.

Does your notebook have ExpressCard 34 or 54?

It's a 54. Either is fine as long as it has the outputs I need. 1/8" center/sub, front, rear.
I did see an express card from Creative but it only had a headphone jack and a mic jack. I would have to buy extra stuff for 5.1.

TurtleBeach makes a nice USB sound adapter called the Advantage Micro. Has both 'copper' and laser/SPDIF outputs. Not bad for $30- list.

External sound cards for P7805 are very much available, one good example I would agree on is the Advantage Micro since it has a fairly good price with for a quality external sound card.
