You can replace your existing HD, but add another one. There is only place for 1

An external hard drive is also a good solution to HD space needs..

You should just replace it then buy an enclosure so that you can use the extra HD in it.

Well I have an 80 gigipod but i've lawys been afraid to put stuff on there in case i restore it by mistake... Hmmm so i'd have to remove my current 160 gig one and replace with another, or use an external one? Suggestions?

Yes, you either have to remove your old one and install a new one, or use an external. It's really your call.

How much do you have to spend? You can get good deals on 250GB drives (with or without enclosure already). The 320GB drives are available too. It all depends on your budget at this point. Drive transfers are relatively easy to do (I use a desktop for this).

It's your choice on what you prefer.

ACtually I would choose to go with an external(more space for cheaper price)

a 250gb 5400rpm or a 320gb 5400rpm drive will actually give you a performace boost over your 120gb drive, while giving you more than double the capacity.
