Just received new machine today which UPS had for days. At least 8 hours spent travelling in single digit weather, probably much longer. I gather it should remain sealed in plastic while thawing to prevent condensation. But how long to thaw? Any guidelines? It doesn't feel cold on the outside anymore... Thanks.

I usually just unwrap them and let sit 2-3 hours. unless it is a unit made to run at extreme temps
