    Eyelash behind screen

    So yeah, I appear to have what looks like an eyelash in the top right corner of my 17" laptop screen (specs in sig).

    Is there any point me dismantling stuff to get it out or should I just wait for it to fall out or land somewhere not noticeable? If I press against the screen, I can move it around.

    EDIT: It seems to have moved away now and can't be found, probably fell out the same way it came in...

    Yes. You can get it out, you have to be very careful. Don't remove all the layers of the LCD, just peel back enough to get it out. You might have to find a guide specific to disassembling LED screens, I've only disassembled CCFL screens before.

    Man, that sounds finicky. I'll look online and see what I can find but I'd rather not have to disassemble stuff that I've never done before...
