Long story short, I am upgrading a friend's laptop to a FHD LCD screen. I already have the screen, but the LVDS cable is missing 10 or so pins, so it can't display FHD. Does anyone know where I can find LVDS cables with a full pinout (it is for a Toshiba 505 series). I don't expect someone to send a link for the specific laptop, but if you know where I could get one, that'd be great! Thanks

Check out ebay and make sure you have that cable part number or a service manual from Toshiba for the laptop and reference that part number on ebay to find the correct cable. Or you can do a search with the part number search online on Google or Yahoo and see if that part number hits a match.

I have the part number. The problem is that it is missing pins, so I can't order the same part since it would have the same issue.
