The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Why is it so cheap? Has the BSOD issue been resolved yet?

I don't know. worse case scenario is that you can always send it back if it doesn't work. I'm just passing on the good deal. :)

Naw, now you can BSOD cheaply. :p

The best case scenario is for people to ignore deals like this even if they give two OCZ V3's for a dollar. That way, OCZ may realize that since they can't give them away, they may as well try to see what is really wrong with them and actually fix them.

This is not a deal, in any sense of the word, imo...
