I would first clean out the dust from the fan, maybe wash it (washing it may damage the fan). Let it dry fully.
If it still sounds bad then try some oil. -
I wouldnt oil the fans. If you do it, be careful, since it could seep onto the motherboard or some other electrical component near the fan. Better to clean it with compressed air first, and try undervolting the CPU as well.
There could be some mechanical fault, since its noisy after a couple of minutes or at high temps, so it would be best to get the notebook serviced if its under warranty.
Does the Fan make sounds when the OS is not loaded? You could prob wait for a couple of 5mins in the BIOS, and see if the fan still makes any noise. -
Dell is sending me a new fan/heatsink and i should get it around tommrow. I guess the barrens went bad or something. How can i tell if the barrens are bad?

do you mean bearings?
Also I would just wait for the new heatsink/fan. Seems like dell is pretty nice. -
fans cost $10- and less. Replace the damned thing.

Dam a new laptop at that...Dell are very good at replacing faulty parts I say in 90% of the time..
