I would like to know if there are any good fan controllers software that work with newer notebooks. Speedfan doesnt work with my dell studio 15 and i8kgui doesn't work either. So if anyone can recommend any software it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks as always,
    Mike

You can try NHC or RMClock. But with newer models, I would personally stick with their delivered Power Management Utility.

    cheers ...

Have you tried undervolting? It can make the CPU less hot and the fan less active.
