Man, I'm starting to hate the DVD burner in my GF's HGL30. The dang thing is pretty loud when it spins up and makes the laptop rattle. Also it seems like it could be a bit faster.

Does anyone know of a good dvd burner that can be had for $70 or less that might be a tad quietter?

There are plenty of good bargain prices on any computer component you can think of with online sellers.. Try searching for optical drive sellers online, or you could even visit retailers, many common computer components even cost less than $50..
