Overall, seems like the Scorpio Black 750gb is the undisputed king. It's good at everything. well, except for the Momentus XT.

The single platter 320GB should be slightly faster. And important for me, quieter.

i just purchased a intel 310 8gb and a scorpio black 750gb to stick in my precision. i figured since my OS, startup programs and frequently used stuff will be on the intel, no point considering the momentus, just go for the drive with most space available for my media files
