I currently have an HP G60-235DX running Windows 7 32 bit Professional. I have 3 Gigs but its expandable to 4. Not sure if is DDR2 or not? I have read the treads that say the internal chips on some will only allow maybe 3.2 to 3.5 usage. Is this the case with my computer. What tool do you recommend to speed this system up and maybe tell me what Ram I actually have installed.

    Thanks in advance.

Hmm, you have a 45-Series chipset in that G60, but Google and others say that you can only use 4GB max. I'm guessing it's a BIOS limitation and you may be able to use more. It's 800MHz DDR2, too.

Use CPU-Z to check out what's in your computer and post back. If you're feeling your computer is sluggish, its most likely not the memory that is slowing it down. You might want to consider a clean install of Win 7.
