    hey guys,

So today was the last day I could return my envy sleek book 1040ca to futureshop due to their 14 day return policy. I had a faulty hard drive making clicking noises so I asked to swap it instead of sending it in to HP because I need it for school.

I received my new laptop from futureshop today and I spend 8 hours tuning it the way I would like it to be, only to figure out that some keys on the keyboard make very weird clicking noises when they are used to type.

I was told at futureshop my warranty only covers 30 days for keyboard issues. I just spoke with HP support, which was very terrible and disappointing, that I have 365 days.

I am unable to send it in for a repair as HP offered me because the laptop is required for my university and job.

I was just curious if anyone thinks if it's worth sending it in just for the keyboard though. I know for a fact it does not sound the same when being typed with as on my old laptop I returned today, but it types fine without any issues. It just sounds like the key is sticky or is about to pop out if pressed on a wrong angle.

Clogged sorry to her that. I think you made the right move getting a replacement for the original machine. I could not even find that model on HP 's site but did find this review of a similar machine that disses the KB
    HP ENVY Sleekbook 6z: Conclusion
Are you open to suggestions for an alternative make/model in that price range ($600 US)?
Personally I would want everything working correctly out of the box.
