    That sounds so naughty. >_>

I'm using a Gateway 7805u with XP Pro. The sound is a bit dodgy. I have a USB sound card that performs decently. However, I have a free Expresscard slot. Is there anything other than the Creative "we just took an SB 24 and changed the name; costs as much as a new HDD; sticks out of the slot" option out there?

Barring sound, is there anything else out there that is cool that I could put in this slot? Bluetooth perhaps? An SSD that doesn't suck? A parallel port seems cool, since I work with a lot of Cisco gear.

PCMCIA is not compatible with Expresscard

There are Creative X-Fi's for express cards though.
