I bought the XPS M1330 a few months ago equipped with only 1 GB of RAM, because the Dell upgrade to 2 GB would have cost $150 ... after failing to do it myself for 3 months out of laziness I finally pulled the trigger after my computer kept freezing up due to multitasking or alt-tabbing out of games.

I was absolutely shocked to see 4 GB prices down to $80! That's the RAM that I bought - even though I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit, which only recognizes 3.2 GB of RAM or so, I still wanted the satisfaction of telling people that I had 4 GB of RAM in my laptop.

A performance update will come as soon as I get the RAM from the Egg (free shipping + $40 instant discount). Can't wait ... I remember when those 4 GB packages were $200 only a few months ago.
