I've got a finger print reader on my laptop. When I first got it, whenever you setup a logon for a particular website, it would recognize it when you visit the site. For example, when you visit a site with a logon screen, a little blue fingerprint icon with a 'play' logo on it would pop up in the upper left hand of the screen letting you know all you have to do is swipe your finger and you're in. Well, it never does that for me again. I actually have to log in manually now. I haven't changed any settings on it, that I know of and I'm not sure what I need to do so that it recognizes the log on screens again. During log on to my comp, its fine and does what it should. Its as if it isn't recognizing my internet browser or something. If I'm not clear, just tell me, and let me know how I can help you help me.

    Thanks

You can go into the BIOS, and clear all fingerprint scans, and you can try configuring the fingerprint reader again.

Literally if it does not work, just scrap the fingerprint reader and use a password.
