I have been looking for an enclosure for my 300GB sata 2 hard drive and I have heard firewire connection is far better than the usb. So I m wondering if there are firewire SATA enclosures that don't cost like $60? I don't want to spend the same price for an enclosure as my hard drive. lol

There's one. There are others on that site as well. $60 is pretty typical for an external enclosure. You can find them cheaper, but they're usually really crappy quality once you get below $50 or so.

You didn't specify if you wanted a 3.5" or a 2.5" enclosure. If you want a 2.5", this one is really sweet. I'm using one with my dv9500t. Fast, small, light, and see-thru :D :
