    I own a Sager NP8150 (i7-2670QM, 8GB Ram, ATI 6990m, Blu-Ray and 500 GB Seagate Hybrid HDD).

Will I notice any real world performance difference between the EVO 250 and M500 240? I do not game. I run Windows 7, Office, itunes and watch the occasional movie.

How much of an SSD do I really need? Is 120 sufficient for an OS and some regular programs?

I would go for at least one size up. Whether or not you OP (over provision), you will value the space. Larger sizes have more NAND to write to in parallel, and the drive will be faster when not almost full.

With your workload, you probably won't notice any difference.

I'm in the same boat, but rather going for the 120gb (I run my OS on a 32GB msata and it's enough..). Perfomance wise, what would be better??
