Just like the title says it broken after a drop, i can plug in an external monitor and the laptop works fine. This laptop has served me well for well over 3 years and I have been think of replacing it but I'm not quite ready yet which has me looking into replacing the broken screen.

    Questions:

    1. I have and old Dell XPS with a 17" screen and the 1920x1200 resolution, will this work?

    2. How do I get the specs to find a replacement part.

    3. Where is a good place to buy the part?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes! The screen from your Dell XPS should work. :)
