    Try this: http://service.seanix.com/downloads/SpecSheets/seanote_d470v.pdf

It's the spec sheet for my laptop: a Seanix Seanote D470V.

I googled "how to flash BIOS", I read around, and came to the conclusion that my POST (Power on Self Test) doesn't tells me what is my motherboard. Here's what I found:
It looks all fun and stuff, but here on my laptop, I don't have this "Identifier string" at all. Here's what I have: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/6968/image064z.jpg
*Note that there's nothing more on the bottom of the screen than "Press F2 to enter Setup". I can do that, and the only useful information on there that i found is that: http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/9185/image065r.jpg Anything that I missed?

Any other way to proceed here? Other tips / advices?

    Thanks a bunch!

Can you tell me the serial number for your crazy-obscure machine?

    http://service.seanix.com/support/personal/sysdetails.asp?SearchFrom=&SSerialNumber=N16886

As you can see from the list at the bottom, there are no available BIOS updates from your manufacturer, and though there is likely something out there for your motherboard, it is extremely risky to flash your BIOS in any case, much less with an update from the web. I'll look around, if you like.

    EDIT:
    http://www.wimsbios.com/chipset/2A69K.jsp

Based on the list above, I confirmed that you have an Abit BE6 motherboard.

This link will instruct you to use this tool:

Wouldn't hurt to try it out.

Thing is, I don't really want to pay :/

    Wow, sorry about that.

Btw, I think pixelot's software is an AGP driver, judging by the filename.

I don't know.. All I see is a bunch of files 3 years older than my computer (bought it in 2004 and those files doesn't go later than late 2001)

Soo.. do I have to assume that there's no need in flashing my Bios? Am I already up-to-date? :/

Since no one else has said it I will....

If you have no idea how to flash a BIOS, if you have no idea what it even means, if you have a hard time grasping the directions here and elsewhere, then......

    DON'T DO IT YOURSELF.

I know how and why to flash my Bios, enough to know that you're probably right. I actually thought I'd be able to do it by myself, and I still think I'd be able to do it alone if my system would've been normal.

But now... you're right. Fu** that.

Even if it's not a newer version, mightn't it accomplish the purpose of accepting your RAM? Just a thought...
