I'm getting a Dell Studio 15 for college. There are just a couple options that I need answers for.

Processors: Would 2.2 GHz be suitable or should I upgrade to 2.4 GHz?
---(It will be used for movies, multi-tasking, Internet, Research, College Stuff)

Graphics Card: Should I upgrade to a Discrete Graphics card? and if so 256mb or 512mb?
---(I am getting the Blu-Ray drive and plan on using my computer for movies quite often)

the 2.2 is more than enough for that.

if you're getting the blu ray drive, i don't think you have a choice but to get the ATI discrete graphics upgrade. 256mb will do the job.
