I've got an hp branded samsung 128gb ssd drive I'm trying to clone old 250gb hdd to it. Samsung migration doesn't recognise the drive of course so I tried EaseUS, but it only lets me select either the entire drive, or only one partition on the drive. I obviously want to clone the windows partition 118gb and the mbr 200mb partition(system reserved) but like I said, it won't let me select more than 1 partition to clone and I have tried to clone one partition at a time but the ssd won't boot when I do that so I need another cloning software that lets you selectively clone as few or as many partitions at once. The old hdd has a recovery partition and hp tools partition that I don't need on the ssd.

If you're somewhat proficient with linux, Clonezilla is one of the best.

Alternatively you should be able to repair the MBR on the cloned drive using a Windows Install CD/USB
