My laptop is acting very weird. It would lock down completely after a minute I boot. I'm sure it's not a software issue because i tried leaving it at the logging screen and it froze. I need some help with trouble shooting thank you.
EDIT: turning wireless off seems to stop it from freezing. Could anyone shed some light on this.
EDIT2: uninstalled intel wifi card. plugged in an old usb netgear wifi card and it seems to be working now. not the most elegant solution, but it does the job. my laptop would live on!

I don't dual boot anymore unfortunately. I'm gonna give safe mode a go again.

Doesn't seem to freeze in bios. It's working fine for almost 40min now.
It just froze. :p I think I know why now. It's something about the wireless module. I turned on wifi and it froze after seconds. The thing freezes in safe mode with networking as well, but runs okay in normal safe mode or just no network.

Hit "windows key"+R and type in "eventvwr" and hit enter. Clear previous errors and restart if you get confused.
Check Application and System for errors related to your protocol. What kind is it? Static IP, DHCP or PPoE ? Oh you could also disable power saving for your wifi card but I don't think that's the issue here.
