Greetings to the group.
I have a Sager 8690 with an Intel 6300N installed.
So I know which antenna connectors are the 2.4 and 5Ghz connectors from previous experience with this card in other machines (principally Dells).
The two outside connectors are the 2.4Ghz and the middle one is 5Ghz.
The Killer N 1103 has three connectors labelled CH0, CH1, CH2.
I have no documentation on this card and can't find any online. Can somebody tell me which connectors are the 2.4 and 5Ghz on the 1103?
Thanks,
S.

All antennas are both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
It's a three stream card (both are) which means 150mbps per stream.
Three streams+ three antennas= 450mbps -
Ah-HA!
So you're saying it really doesn't matter which antenna connector I install on which receptacle on the 1103 then?
TIA

If you have three antennas it doesn't really matter.
If you had two- the middle one should be free, although it doesn't seem to make much difference either. -
Sorry for intruding in your thread but, do you guys think that this upgrade is worth it? Stability of the connection, better signal, etc. assuming all other things are equal?

I'm willing to buy your 6300 from you if it works ok? $20 shipped?

Same question here. WHY?
I'm deciding which card to order with my laptop. Figure the 6300 would be plenty. I'm more concerned with range as my speeds are limited by my provider. -

I don't think you'll see much of a difference. The 6300 is a really great wireless card already.
