    Hello -

I've been using wired mice for the longest - just recently switched to wireless. I know it'll take some time to get used to but holy cow it moves so freely and so smoothly.. and sometimes it feels super sensitive altho its prolly just a matter of perception.

I guess I could keep using it but is there any other way I could make it feel like my old wired mice? Thanks.

PS - Changing the sensitivity in CP didnt do much.

What mouse did you get, and how old was your previous mouse? Newer mice have higher DPI ratings, meaning their hardware is more sensitive.

I guess it is all about perception. I say give it a while and see if you get used to it. I LOVE the fact that mine "moves so freely and smoothly." I hate using my usb mouse now ;)

I think that you should adjust the mouse acceleration as opposed to the sensitivity in Control Panel.
The MS Wireless optical mouse 3000 only support one DPI setting. You will need a more expensive mice for that feature :p.
