How much difference is the there between a 667 fsb and 533 fsb.

    I'm looking at one laptop with a 1.73ghz-533fsb or a 1.86ghz 667fsb.

The first will have better battery no doubt but how much vs performance of a 667 fsb. Both ram is 533mhz.

The battery life difference may not actually be all that much. The FSB shouldn't be a massive problem, provided you don't run any programs that are memory and processor intenisve, where large amounts of data need to be transferred between the processor and memory. Is there a large price difference between the two notebooks?

Exact same price specs, except for 12 cell on the 533 fsb machine.

The battery is quite an upgrade, and I would lean toward that notebook. The FSB may be lower, but no one will notice during normal operation and for the average user, the processor will be fine.
