    Fujitsu Amilo D 7830 Help Please

    i have a Fujitsu Amilo D 7830 notebook it has a radeon mobility 9000 64mb video card in it and 512mb ddrsdram . i want to upgrade both, but am unsure if the newer cards will even be applicable for my system. i need to upgrade for the new half life 2 game.
    any suggestions?

    You can't upgrade the video memory unless the system allows for 128MB to be allocated for video. Most integrated video controllers with shared video memory only allows for 64MB to be allocated, so upgrading to more memory will not help. Also, this games requires DirectX 9.0 H/W support, otherwise the games may not play correctly. The ATI 9000 GPU doesn't have DirectX 9.0 h/w support.
