Does anyone know the maximum amount of SDRAM I can install in a Fujitsu FMV-Biblo NE3/500L? According to Everest, there is one extra, unused RAM expansion slot. The laptop currently has 64MB of SDRAM in the first slot. I tried using Babelfish on jp.fujitsu.com - managed to get to the NE3/500L downloads page, but I have difficulty pinpointing the information I need. Any Japanese readers here who can help out?

I found this "標準64MB(SDRAM)[オンボード](最大192MB)", I found it here. It translates to "Standard 64 MB (SDRAM) [board] (up to 192 MB)" Yes it looks like it shipped with 1 DIMM so you should have one slot left so if you get a 128MB stick if you want to max out. What else do you want to know? Looks like the link has all the hardware info.

I'm in luck then... Thanks, powerpack! As for my other questions...
Is the existing RAM built-in permanently or installed in a slot?
Is it possible to use 256MB or 512MB modules on the free slot even if the specified acceptable modules are only 64MB/128MB? Has anyone here tried installing more RAM than the specified amount?
Is this laptop fussy about the brand of RAM or can it accept any type of SODIMM SDRAM (be it PC-66, -100 or -133)?
