Hello guys I had some time and made some benchmark tests of these two speeders ..
    http://193.128.183.41/emea/product-1.asp?id=640&i=158&li=1
    http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?DriveID=482
Both are 320 GB 7200 rpm 16MB cache
I must say I made few benchmarks of Fujitsu and one of is WD.
I didn't have time to swap hdd's and reinstall win7 again there is one benchmark of WD
I belive that you know what results WD Scorpio Black have these days
I must say both HDD'a have same noise no more no less
Fujitsu is not vibrating at all Wd Yes
Unfortunately both HDD's Klicking for me but Fujitsu a bit less only a bit
As you can see WD def. winning ! (am so Disapointed :( )
    (Crystal Disk mark is Fujitsu)

    Nice work Evoss.

Could you perform the following test?: Copy a 5GB folder and paste it onto the same drive. Time it by hand. Once for the WD and once for the Fujitsu.

Yes that would be the idea.

Let's say the WD is the D drive, copy a folder from D:, and then paste it on the same drive on a different path, thus duplicating the folder.

But if your Fujitsu is already in your PS3 it doesn't make much sense anymore.

No you can't say the WD is faster just because it does HD Tune better.

If you want to find out which one is faster you have to do real life tests, like duplicating the 5GB folder or booting the OS.

WEI is another synthetic benchmarks. It's a nice indication but it does not have to mean that the WD is actually faster in real life.

Ok so the WD boots in 35 sec. What about the Fujitsu? :)

    12 or 15 min? That's not very accurate :)

What if you take a stopwatch and measure it?

Duplicating a 5GB takes about 3 minutes on the Fujitsu (probably a lot of very large files in the folder).

PS. Maybe you should get a 500GB Seagate 7200.4 with the last firmware, that will probably be a close match with the WD3200BEKT.

    Sorry
    its not accurate
because win calculating with delay will show 35 min and then in few seconds will show 5 min ..
and fujitsu boot was 35 seconds no wd
    wd is 28 seconds

That's why I say you need a stopwatch to time it by hand. I don't trust Windows' time calculations.
