I just got a Fujitsu S6210, and i guess the LCD doesnt have a back light.. my intial thoughts would be to make one.... Now, this might be tricky (undoubtedly), but any ideas on how this can be done?![]()
I'm pretty brave when it comes to computer modding...

If there doesn't seem to be a backlight then there is something terribly, terribly wrong with your display. Pretty much every notebook on the market has a backlight, I don't know a single one that doesn't.
GPU cooling (100°C->75°C)* Inspiron 8600 * 1.8ghz Pentium M * 128 MB Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo (337/242 -> 400/300) * 2x512 MB DDR2700 SDRAM * Aquamark 3: 24058 * 3DMark'03: 3404 * 3DMark'01 SE: 13120 -
By LCD he means the digital display at the top of the keyboard that show battery life, harddrive access, etc. No it doesnt have a backlite.

O, now i understand. You might be able to use an LED. Spiike from notebookforums.com did a modification on his laptop that used USB power to shine LED's out of his vents.

Man...that would be pretty tough if you ask me. Getting a little light of some sort down there would be nice though.
