Hi guys. Do you think of would be possible in the future to upgrade from an 880M to one of these cards? I own a P150SM by the way.

In theory yes. You can upgrade to a similar mxm3.0b card. The problem lies practically: 1) is there a compatible heatsink? you can make one but it requires a bit of effort on your side. 2) bios support. let's hope some brave soul gets to unlock the bios for your machine and "stretch" it's possibilities (slv7 prema ;) ) 3) price. how much will it cost? if costs are too high (more nvidia than amd) will it be still feasible?
Keep those points in mind and you have your answer :D

I couldn't have said it better.. You can't really say now and really speaking you might want to wait 2-3 years to upgrade.. The 880M is still good and won't be obsolete for quite a bit..

Heatsinks isn't as big of an issue as vBIOS/BIOS compatibility. Without BIOS compatibility, kiss your MXM upgrade dreams bye bye. Price is going to be #2, a brand new 98X card will likely be 700-900 dollars when it is first launched. New top tier MXM cards are $$$.

So, will your clevo basically be compatible with next-gen's new arch?
Hm, i'd say some of the past models haven't been exactly encouraging about this always working, but possibly.
