I'm looking to buy a new screen for my g50vt-x5, preferably a samsung.

    I was thinking about this

    http://www.screencountry.com/index.php?section=products&part_number=LTN156AT01

    1336x768 - check
    15.6 inch - check
    1ccfl bulb - check

is there anything im missing, compatability wise? should this work?

Unfortunately I couldn't find an upgraded resolution for the ccfl/15.6", but I heard they can be bad for the video card anyway, and $93 is a damn good deal for a samsung if you ask me. almost sounds too good to be true.

    thanks!

Then you could just lower the resolution in windows.

I think the GPU would be fine either way.
