I have Lenovo 3000 G410M with Celeron M 540 1.86 on GL960 chipset .
Is it possible to upgrade M 540 processor to T2390 ?
I also found related posts on this forum, I want to confirm this information too :
Any thoughts are welcome !

Based on what you just posted, we are not going to know until someone tries. Why not be the first? The T2370 is probably what, 50 bucks? And if it doesn't work, you can re-sell it.

According to CPU-Z current processor use Socket 479 mPGA. Can that be a mistake (Socket M)?
Does that mean that I can only use processors with exactly the same socket type?

The T2370 is socket P, and the GL960 boards utilize Socket P. Unless there is no BIOS support for the Pentium, I see no reason why it won't work. HP has been selling C700 units for quite some time with that chipset, and all they offer are Pentium Dual Cores like the one you mentioned.....
