comes with a T2330 533FSB,lots of people have tried 667FSB cpus like T5xxx;Everest reports it will support 533,667 and 800 fsb cpus.
So I got one T7700 from ebay for $71~
after I switched it in,the system suffered from lags though I have reinstalled the cpu driver. But after reinstall the systems,it works like a charm~even better in Leopard with speedstep kernel.
So I think GL960 does support FSB800 cpus upto Merom T7800~not sure about X7xxx.Has anyone tried Penryn on GL960?
    Here comes the snapshot.

Congrats! Yes we have all known GL960 supports 800Mhz FSB. But there does seem to be BIOS issues for some. I can't answer your other questions as until done? How do we know?

about the ram:gl960 only support to 3GB,within T2330 it clocks at 533 and 667 within T7700.You must put the 1GB in slot 1 and 2GB in slot2 otherwise you can't get to the welcome screen

Yes only the BIOS supports it so we can do this.

It's fun to be playing with Intel's small GL960 toy.Better to upgrade our lapy before buy a new one and replace it,do something for the enviroment.

Also if you make a cpu upgrade from a basic model when you buy it,they(like dell) typically have high upgrade prices. If you wish to pay the premium price you can have your warranty~

Check out this thread....These guys have been playing around with Penryns. :D

You should check out the release notes accompanying the various BIOS updates, as they may have info about what is compatible and what is not. ;)
