Hey guys, I am trying to buy a GPU for the config mentioned below, please suggest me the best graphics that can support this PC
    Intel G41 express chipset
    Processor : Intel core 2 duo E7500 @2.93
    Ram : 4 GB DDR3
    PCIe Slot : x16 ( Express 1.1 )

Please suggest me the best graphics card that is available in the market which is compatible with the system.

Any PCI-e graphics card should work, but remember high end graphics card will be bottlenecked by the CPU (coincidentally I had an E7500 before).
Also it'll depend on what power supply you have, if you have something like 400W or more you have a lot of options, but if you have a <300W one then you're limited to low-to-mid class cards unless you upgrade the PSU.

Without enough detail, I'd recommend a GTX 750 Ti: cheap (especially for 2nd-hand ones), decent performance (as long as you don't go Ultra at 1080p) and use little power (~60W). Back when it was released it was the best budget gaming graphics card for OEM desktops, as most of them were fitted with low power PSUs. RX 460 is a newer and better option, while still uses less than 75W, can be considered the successor of GTX 750 Ti.

Your mobo may be able to use LGA 771 Xeons too (cheaper than Core 2 Quad and runs a bit cooler), with some small modifications, take a look on this site if you wanna know more.

    P. S. Oh yeah, some new graphics card may have issues when paired with an old mobo. I have a Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L mobo with a GT 730, and I had to fiddle with BIOS (changing first boot graphics settings) to make Windows utilize the card instead of the integrated graphics.

GTX 750 Ti was the standard bearer for cheap, plug-and-play graphics for awhile, and as OverTallman mentions, the RX 460 seems to be becoming the new standard bearer for that category.
