My GPU reaches temperatures of 105C playing Modern Warfare 2 (it is NOT a resource-intensive game, only takes up about 16-25% of processor...). That obviously isn't normal--what are the typical things to consider to rectify it before my computer melts itself, besides from not playing any games at all?
My computer is an Asus F50S. I'm also wondering if disassembling the computer's shell to clean the innards might be a viable option, and where I would be able to find guides for that.

Sounds like your heatsink may be clogged up. Have you looked in the Asus Sub-Forum for information on how to disassemble or clean it out?

Not yet. I shall do that presently.

That game may not tax your Cpu, but it WILL tax your Gpu.
It is very Gpu intensive.
Looking at the Cpu load will not indicate the Gpu load.
GPU overheating badly
