I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 that has a c2d t5450 processor clocked at 1.67ghz with no dedicated graphics card and I have been using my mom's work laptop with the same processor but a nVidia geforce gt 8600m graphics card with 512gb memory. Alot of video playback on this laptop has been very choppy and laggy where it play smoothly on my Inspiron with no dedicated graphics card. What's wrong with my mom's computer?

Try install the same codec configuration you have on the Inspiron on the other computer. Also, check for overheating and make sure that the computer isn't on power saver mode.

Idk what the codec config is or where to find it, besides my Inspiron's screen is broke, which is why I'm using the other computer
