    according to HtWingnut about 10%-30% when both are max overclocked.

    Despite the lesser core count. the 860 maxwell has several performance advantages. It has higher memory bandwidth, better core utilization and larger amounts of internal cache (further lengthening its memory access advantage).
    Plus, it apparently runs very cool as well so it's less likely to thermal throttle.
