    GTX 880m Throttling

    I'm having an issue with my upgrade. I bought a GTX 880m and so far it's been working well in my M17x R3. Except for the issue that after running it in game for a litle bit it throttles down to unbearable framerates. I've tried new drivers, new vbios, nothing. Still does it no matter what.

    It is well known as the throttling king of GPUs... You will need to read through some old threads about it to find the proper vBIOS.. Otherwise, sell it and get the 780M, which works much better out of the box!
