Have any of you guys tried undervolting your chips?

Have you submitted a bios to mvktech to get support added to Nibitor?

I am doing a crazy mod in my machine where the cooling is good and the power circuitry is not getting hot atm, but I don't want to stress my internals more than I have to.

Why do you want to undervolt a high-end machine?

undervolting is also good for reducing heat and extending battery life when you don't need the powerhouse

don't know specifics on the GTX460M but let this act as a bump

A lot of the times, undervolting CPUs can result in lower voltages and temps, but equal performance. I am unsure as to whether or not it is the same for GPUs, but my old Core 2 Duo ran at a fraction of the voltage yet still maintained performance.

Worked on my old HD4670, could run stock at 0.1v less. Meant it could not overclock even a small bit, but I want this card running as cool as possible at stock speeds.

i think you should be able to undervolt but most GTX460M owners don't do that because their laptops can cool it.. don't about your acer but HD4670 to GTX460M is a big jump.
